Libra-Flex Dynamic Stools are designed to encourage movement while you work. Rather than holding the body in one fixed position, its innovative under-seat construction allows controlled movement as the user shifts, leans and changes posture.
Designed by Studio Verco, Libra-Flex stools respond automatically to the person sitting on them. There are no complicated controls to set up: the flexible arms beneath the seat provide the movement, while the stool adapts naturally as the user moves.
This makes Libra Flex particularly well suited to modern, agile workplaces where people move between desks, collaboration areas, touch-down points and different working heights during the day.

The range comprises three distinct versions, each designed for a different style of working.
LBF1 standard dynamic stool
The LBF1 is the standard Libra-Flex model, combining a circular upholstered seat with the range’s dynamic movement system.
It is a great choice where you want something more active and informal than a conventional office chair. The swivel seat is height adjustable, while the dynamic tilt action allows the seat to respond as the user moves.

Choose the LBF1 when: you want the simplest and most versatile Libra-Flex, particularly for standard-height working environments.
LBF2 sit-stand dynamic stool
The LBF2 takes the same dynamic seating principle and adapts it specifically for sit-stand working. We describe it as its sit-stand dynamic seating stool with an upholstered seat cushion.
Its increased working height makes it an excellent companion to a height-adjustable desk. Instead of moving directly between sitting in a conventional chair and standing, the user can adopt a supported, elevated position.
A higher spindle providing a 530-790 mm range is also available as an option for the LBF2.
Ideal for:
Choose the LBF2 when: the stool will primarily be used with a sit-stand desk or higher work surface.
LBF3P standard dynamic stool with a pelvic support backrest
The LBF3P combines the standard dynamic Libra Flex seat with an additional pelvic support backrest.
This height-adjustable upholstered support gives the user an additional point of contact while retaining the active character of the stool. Verco specifies CMHR foam and tailored upholstery for the back support, which is available in Camira Vita Vinyl.
For users who like the freedom of an active stool but prefer some additional support behind them, the LBF3P provides an effective middle ground between a backless stool and a more conventional task chair.

Choose the LBF3P when: you want the movement and compact dimensions of an active stool, but with the reassurance of an adjustable pelvic support.
LBF1 | Standard Dynamic Stool
The all-rounder. Best for standard-height desks, collaboration areas and flexible workspaces where a compact, active stool is required.
LBF2 | Sit-Stand Dynamic Stool
The high-level option. Designed for sit-stand working and particularly suited to height-adjustable desks and elevated work surfaces.
LBF3P | Dynamic Stool with Pelvic Support
The supportive option. Adds a height-adjustable pelvic back support to the standard dynamic stool, making it suitable for users who want additional support while retaining freedom of movement.
LBF1 standard dynamic stools
At the heart of every Libra-Flex is the dynamic-tilt seat. The flexible under-seat arms allow controlled movement and interaction with the sitter without requiring numerous manual adjustments.
All three versions feature swivel and seat-height adjustment, a circular upholstered seat with CMHR foam, a black nylon five-star base and 50 mm hard-wheel castors as standard. A chalk-white base and frame and soft-wheel castors are amongst the available options.
The result is a deceptively simple piece of workplace furniture that can encourage people to move, reposition and work more dynamically.

Sit-stand desks
